1 September 2020

There are some great things to do during lockdown to keep your friends or partner entertained, but nothing beats the new drive-in movies in London. At a drive-in cinema in London, simply pull up and watch your favourite movies all from the comfort of your car. You can also put up chairs in your allocated bay to enjoy a retro outdoor cinema experience.

There are some great things to do during lockdown to keep you and your friends entertained, but nothing beats the new drive-in movies in London! At a drive-in cinema in London, simply pull up and watch your favourite movies all from the comfort of your own car. And don't worry if you're not a drive, you can also put up chairs in your allocated pedestrian bay to enjoy a retro outdoor cinema experience.

We’ve got a whole range of films on offer, but are you wondering what drive thru movies are good for your friends or family at The Drive In?

Here are five ideas:
Tenet

Armed with only one word, Tenet, and fighting for the survival of the entire world, a Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time.

A new film from Christopher Nolan, starring John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine and Kenneth Branagh.

Mean Girls

Mean Girls stars Lindsay Lohan as Cady Heron, a 16 year old homeschooled girl who not only makes the mistake of falling for Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett), the ex-boyfriend of queenbee Regina George (Rachel McAdams), but also unintentionally joins The Plastics, led by Regina herself. Join Cady as she learns that high school life can and will be really tough.

Bad Boys For Life

Bad Boys For Life stars Will Smith (Mike Lowrey) and Martin Lawrence (Marcus Burnett) as Miami detectives who face off against a mother-and-son pair of drug lords who wreak vengeful havoc on their city.

Marcus and Mike have to confront new issues (career changes and midlife crises), as they join the newly created elite team AMMO of the Miami police department to take down the ruthless Armando Armas, the vicious leader of a Miami drug cartel.

Queen & Slim

Slim and Queen are a couple on a first disastrous date that takes an unexpected turn when a policeman pulls them over for a minor traffic violation. When the situation escalates, Slim and Queen are labelled cop killers in the media, and feel that they have no choice but to go on the run and evade the law. When a video of the incident goes viral, the reluctant outlaws soon become a symbol of trauma, terror, grief and pain for people all across the country.

Clay's Redemption

The Drive In is pleased to present the World Premiere for Clay's Redemption, a stylish, neon-soaked indie flick, inspired by 80’s cult movies and hard edged graphic novels; featuring Akie Kotabe (Everly) and the singer Nuuxs (in her screen debut).

For centuries, Clay has served out his sentence as enforcer for the Gods. Within sight of earning his 'Exit', Clay is given one final job: protect a deaf-mute young woman. By the time he realizes there's more to this mission than meets the eye, it's too late to remember: when you work for immortals there's hell to pay.
