London drive-in cinema is a great way to watch your favourite movies outside on a giant screen. Whether you enjoy high-school dramas or action-packed detective movies with a comedic twist, you can sit back, relax and watch your top flicks unfold from the comfort of your own car. Or, book a car free bay and rock up in groups of up to five from the same household or social bubble to enjoy London’s drive in theatre without a vehicle.

There’s a bit of a Mean Girls Vs Bad Boys theme going on this autumn, so let’s take a look at what’s showing in more detail.

Mean Girls – 12A

Following a move from Africa, teenager Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) finds herself in an American high school where she comes face-to-face with The Plastics – an A-list girl clique that takes an immediate interest in the new girl.

Will she be able to navigate all the new ‘girl rules’ in place and what about the Burn Book? Isn’t it mean to write bad things about fellow students? There’s a whole lot to take in and with distractions from new crush Aaron Samuels, can Cady stay on the right path on her new school adventure?

First released in 2004, Mean Girls quickly became a cult teen comedy classic, starring familiar faces such as Rachel McAdams as Regina George, the main antagonist in the movie. Ideal for teens looking to watch this movie for the first time or as a retro theatre trip for millennials, this movie has some of our favourite one liners. Join us for a Mean Girls night out, but remember…“On Wednesdays, we wear pink.”

Bad Boys for Life – 15

If you’d rather switch all that teen drama for something a little more action-based, how about Bad Boys for Life starring much loved Miami detectives Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence)?

A crime comedy with style, Bad Boys for Life sees the detectives battling a whole bunch of career changes on top of a midlife crisis as they join the newly created elite team AMMO of the Miami police department. The aim? To take down the ruthless Armando Armas, the vicious leader of a Miami drug cartel. Will they complete their mission?

As the third instalment of the Bad Boys trilogy, this 2020 movie sees Smith and Lawrence reprise their popular detective roles for the first time since Bad Boys II in 2003.
